TYPES OF SOLAR ENERGY

SunDurance Energy offers a number of solar energy solutions, including:

Photovoltaic Solar: Photovoltaic (PV) systems convert sunlight into electricity by using cells composed of semiconductor materials. We work with both crystalline silicon (highest power density for maximum space utilization) and thin film PV (lower cost with greater space requirement) technologies. PV systems can be installed on rooftops and/or on the ground wherever unobstructed sunshine at an appropriate angle is available.
Concentrating Solar Power: Also referred to as “CSP” or “Solar Thermal,” this approach uses reflecting technology to concentrate the sun’s heat in order to create steam and drive turbines to generate electricity. This is conceptually similar to a traditional power plant, except that the steam is generated by the sun’s heat instead of by burning fossil fuels. CSP is most applicable to large, utility-scale projects exceeding 30 MW in size.

SunDurance deploys a team of experienced professionals on site, with a dedicated and seasoned project manager to oversee the entire process. Capital Purchase

You purchase your customized system which generates “free” renewable energy.
You have complete control over financing.
All design and installation costs are included in the price.
SunDurance obtains necessary permits to ensure proper design and installation.
You receive any qualifying state and federal energy credits and incentives.
You earn tax benefits to the extent available, including investment tax credit and depreciation.
SunDurance can complete all incentive applications as an additional service.

Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)

You pay only for the solar electricity you use, nothing more.
For the life of the agreement (usually 15–25 years), you pay a price competitive with, and in many cases below, grid cost.
Contracted solar electricity rate provides a hedge against rising utility costs.
There is no capital outlay, nor any other up-front expense.
All design, installation and maintenance costs are included.
SunDurance handles everything — from obtaining permits to design, installation and maintenance.
SunDurance completes all of the incentive applications.
