INSTALLATION FLEXIBILITY

Roof Installations

Most solar PV systems are installed on roofs, enabling you to put empty space to productive use. Solar PV systems can be mounted on either flat or sloped roofs. Flat-roof installations have the advantage of allowing the mounting system to be oriented and tilted in any position to maximize energy production. Roof-mounted systems also help protect the roof from the sun’s UV rays.

Ground Arrays

Many systems are installed on the ground. Ground arrays are also easy to position for maximum energy production. Ground arrays are a good alternative for facilities where roofs are unsuitable or cannot support solar panels.

Canopies

Parking lots or walkway canopies are a third possible location. In addition to holding the panels that generate solar energy, the canopies provide shade and offer shelter in inclement weather.

Utility-Scale Arrays 

SunDurance is willing to design and build free-form layouts that follow property boundaries, thus maximizing all available space.  We do not restrict our designs to the “cookie-cutter, easy-to-build” block-style layouts.
