NY Jets

NY Jets Atlantic Health Training Center | 690 kW Non-Penetrating Solar Rooftop Array

Scope of Work

Just in time for kick off!  SunDurance Energy completes a solar electric generation system at the NY Jets’ headquarters and training center in Florham Park, NJ.  The system, funded through a power purchase agreement, will save the Jets tens of thousands dollars each year in electricity expenses with no capital outlay.  SunDurance installed 3,000 solar panels to the facility’s standing seam metal roof using a completely non-invasive, non-penetrating mounting system.  The system is designed to generate over 750,000 kwhrs of electricity each year and will reduce CO2 emissions by 540 metric tons each year, which is equivalent to taking over 100 cars of the road.

Brief Description of Effort

SunDurance is a design/build solar PV company with over 100 year’s construction experience.  The result of this history yields the following client compliment:

“Your crew was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the project.  The gang stayed focused even through heat that topped out well above 100 degrees where work conditions were borderline unbearable in order to come in ahead of the original schedule.

Your crew was incredibly flexible when you consider that we threw a few last minute schedule changes your way, such as our changing plans and having to have your crew mobilize away from the planned loading areas; setting and resetting on our loading dock thanks to food deliveries; accommodating the needs of film crews by keeping noise down when commercials were being shot.  Again, nobody thought these were strange requests or argued to ask us to change anything for them. This was such an accommodating group solely focused on their own mission and understanding of our varied idiosyncrasies that made it such a pleasure for me to be a part of.

In the future, as you go out and bid on upcoming work, I would be happy to be a reference to your prospective clients.”  -- Michael Lebet – Director, Building Operations.
